Drs. Grosinger, Spigelman and Grey are delighted to announce the addition of Dr. Alex Mishulin to our practice. He will help us to continue to provide the highest level of eye care services, both medical and surgical, on which our reputation is based.
Dr. Mishulin earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, and his Medical Degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He did a transitional year residency at Oakwood Hospital where he was honored as resident of the year in 2016. His ophthalmology residency was done at Kresge Eye Institute.
During his ophthalmology residency, his areas of research were micro-invasive glaucoma surgery, improving outcomes in cataract surgery and advanced technology intraocular lenses. He was the recipient of the Hanna Obertynski M.D. Award for Best Published Paper from Kresge Eye Institute in 2017. He participated in IOPEN eye surgery mission trips in partnership with the Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) and SEE International to the Dominican Republic.
Grosinger, Spigelman and Grey Eye Surgeons provide full service medical and surgical eye care to our patients in Bloomfield Hills Michigan. Our focus is on Cataract, LASIK, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Fuchs’ Dystrophy, DMEK and general ophthalmology issues. Our cutting-edge office has 22 exam rooms with on-site cataract, glaucoma and retina testing. In addition, our office has a surgical suite containing the Allegretto Wavelight laser and Allegretto FS-200 femtosecond laser for laser vision correction.
Dr. Mishulin will be performing cataract and other microsurgical procedures at the Eye Surgery Center of Michigan in Troy.
We are very happy to welcome Dr. Mishulin to our practice. He will be available to see patients beginning August 1, 2019.
