February is Age-Related Macular Degeneration & Low Vision Awareness Month

February 6, 2015

Feb-Macular-Degeneration-Awareness-Month-Eye-Michigan

The American Academy of Ophthalmology proclaims February as Age-Related Macular Degeneration Awareness & Low Vision Awareness Month. Due to damage in the retina, a loss of vision in the macula occurs (which is the center of the visual field), making reading extremely difficult and sometimes impossible. For any vision problem, call Eye Michigan to make an appointment for proper diagnosis and treatment.
