My name is Robert Goodrich, and I am a professional truck driver. I have been blessed by Dr. Grosinger and have been his patient for over 25 years. He’s been a great doctor, a wonderful person, and a superb surgeon.
I’ve needed glasses since I was 18 or 19 years old. In my job, I drive a semi for UPS to Grand Rapids every night, and I realized the headlights were really starting to bother my eyes. Vision loss is such a gradual thing that you don’t always notice it at first, but I really noticed it on rainy or snowy nights.
Dr. Grosinger checked my eyes and explained that cataracts cause a buildup of cloudiness in your eye that affects night driving. Having great vision is imperative for me, so he suggested cataract surgery. I had one eye done, and about nine months later I had the other done—and what a difference! I used to have a glare that scared me and hindered my ability to drive with confidence, and now I have no problem.
The surgery was simple—I was in at 9:00 AM and out by 10:15 AM. They told me to go home and rest, had me in for an appointment the next morning, and I resumed driving by Monday without any issue. I enjoy driving again thanks to Dr. Grosinger and his wonderful staff. At UPS, I’ve logged over two million miles over a 30-year period without an accident. If excellent vision is imperative to you as it is to me, I highly recommend Dr. Grosinger. He is truly the doctor for professionals who require perfect vision.
