Drs. Grosinger, Spigelman and Grey have adopted Alcon LenSx® laser, a bladeless, computer-controlled laser at Eye Surgery Center. This new method allows to plan and perform your surgery to exacting, individualized specifications not attainable with other surgical methods. They offer a number of vision correction procedures including cataract surgery and LASIK in Michigan. The LenSx® Laser makes possible an innovative and revolutionary cataract surgery technique that offers a more precise and blade-free method of cataract removal.
According to Drs. Grosinger, Spigelman and Grey, the LenSx® Laser is one of the most important recent technological advances in the field of cataract surgery. This computer-guided, surgeon-controlled laser has a number of advantages compared to traditional cataract surgery. Using a computer to provide the most precise image of the patient’s eye as a guide, the LenSx® Laser creates small, corneal incisions or anterior capsulotomies to remove the cataract.
Advantages of Laser Eye Cataract Surgery:
- Greater precision
- No surgical blades
- Custom-guided laser
- Programmable laser for each patient
- Decreased risks
